"A young promising Israeli choreographer Arkadi Zaides had a performance after the five weeks of residency at the steep slope studio, which belongs to yokohama city arts and cultural foundation. It is a Yokohama version of Arkadi's work "Adam & Eve". Mari Fukutome from Ho-Ho-Do (the Japanese popular contemporary dance unit), and Teita Iwabuchi who was a Japanese dancer selected by arkadi himself, joined this project.
Arkadi, as a young talented artist, comprehended perfectly the various elements such as visual art of landscape of Yokohama city (produced by Tomohiko Okabe and Keisuke Fukusima) and music (produced by Kosuke Kawase). He succeeded to create the beautiful space like a myth through the repetition of contact and conflict with dancers."

"Arkadi has deepened his communication with Japanese dancers through his five weeks residency and his powerful workshops in Japan. His brilliant achievement is proved by the request of re-calling him to Japan from those who wish to see his work again here.
Especially "Daat" presented the result of the intensive communication between artists of two cultures, two cities, two countries. We were so impressed by his extraordinary talent."
