Work

quiet

in
"quiet" arose from a real sense of emergency; in light of the growing violence and mistrust between communities in israel, constantly subjected to states of shock which never allow the space needed for reflection, and thus never allow for change. in such an environment it felt acute to create a platform which allows for an open and honest communication; a place where it is safe to let one's demons out and set them free; where the irrationality of response is examined and emotions are bravely explored; where a broad perspective is sought and where trust is continuously built.

meeting brian wash

in
meeting brian wash explores the theme of forced physical-social-emotional systems, and their effects on inner worlds and relationships between humans.
the focus is on individual characters, and their coping mechanisms with systems of control and techniques of “brainwash”.
what happens when social, political and cultural issues directly touch our bodies and fragile structures? how do we respond to them?
how do we survive and what choices do we make within these systems?

daat

in
walking into a condense space, filled with different forces. looking at the differences between the feminine energy, and the masculine one. wondering how it is possible to build a new garden of eden. going back to a familiar biblical story in order to recompose innocence.

adamdam

in
adamdam is inspired by the story of the “golem”, a myth from the jewish mystical tradition, about a servant created from clay.
the term “golem” is used in the bible in reference to an embryonic substance, a form not yet shaped.
in present times, the term “golem” refers to a brainless entity serving man, under controlled conditions, but hostile to him in others.

‘this disturbed fog of shadows, raging within, how can I dissolve it?’ (raymond queneau)

contrast.
freeze or frantic,
both dilute the feel of craze.
childish and authority,
are mixing up,
resulting in shadows of the self
chopping inside,
conversing with external pain, primal, patterned.
aspiring for escape, for relief, for flow
the struggle visualizes itself as the vacant self,
a collage of shadows animated,
where the inner meets the real.
