shira miasnik

• shira has co created solo siento in 2005.
• in 2007 she created solo siento – video dance which won the first prize in vdance – international video dance festival in tel aviv 2007.

shira miasnik works at the nexus of video making, interactive art and interaction design. interested in developing artifacts and events, which explore new manners of reactive expression. 
she has a degree in multidisciplinary design from the design academy eindhoven.  she was in residence in the netherlands and belgium for five years, performed vjing in clubs and festivals around europe, exhibited in various dutch galleries, and performing arts theaters. in israel, co-created 'solo siento', a dance and video piece with arkadi zaides, performing in various festivals in europe and asia.
received an honorably mention from the taiwan design competition and was a final selection at the monaco dance forum for digital arts and dance. was published internationally in magazines such as canadian ‘applied arts’ and dutch ‘items’, russian ’k’.
